refuserefuseexperiment

collect. discard. encased. ripped open. building up from rejected materials. our waste. community waste. access to something plentiful. the cheapest and the simplest. our bounty. what we make of it. yours and mine. a compiled aesthetic of use. upcycle rather than recycle. do more with less.

: objective : reclaim and collaborate :

our objective with this project is the application of certain materials and criteria and restrictions we have developed for a four day experiment. for a period of over three weeks we requested debris and discards from our community, some of it useful, some of it recyclable and some of it not. it will be an additive process using these materials with documents of our dialogue, our responses, some factual information about the materials and a catalog of what we collectively acquired. refuserefuseexperiment@yahoo.com
